St. Croix Valley Cabinetry
An excellent choice for Kitchens, vanities, fireplaces, table tops, floors and tub surrounds.
Granite is available in a striking array of colors and textures from quarries all over the world. Whether you are choosing it for your home or business, granites natural warmth, elegance and durability make the most popular natural stone on the market today.
Being one of the hardest of the dimension stone types, granites ability to withstand extreme temperatures and heavy use adds to its “timeless” longevity. Homeowners love the unique beauty, durability and easy maintenance of natural stone and its tailored look. The customer’s creativity and the unique qualities of each different stone make it a smart investment that will last forever.
Cleaning granite countertops
For every day cleaning use mild dish soap, warm water and a soft cloth. There are also many spray cleaners available for natural stone use.
Sealing of granite countertops
All granite countertops will be sealed before installation. 3 Guys Granite Inc. is an accredited applicator for STAIN-PROOF Original ™ sealer. STAIN-PROOF Original ™ is an impregnating, invisible and breathable sealer that protects exposed natural stone, tiles, pavers, concrete and grout from damage caused by water, salts and oil-based stains. Treated indoor and outdoor surfaces become easier to clean, maintain, and keep looking good for longer. STAIN-PROOF Original ™ provides lasting protection for natural stone.
If you think that your stone will need to be re-sealed, simply put a few drops of water on your countertop and wait for 15-20 minutes. If you can see that the water has been absorbed into the top it’s time to re-seal. The sealer that we use is estimated to be affective for approximately 15 years.
